Frank’s Toast began as a simple school project—but turned into a full-blown toast sensation with a loyal following and a flavorful journey behind it.

It all started back in school with my good friend and classmate, Frank. Frank always brought a homemade toast sandwich for lunch—without fail. That’s when the idea hit us: what if we turned something as classic and comforting as a toast into a street food concept?

Armed with a grill and a dream, we hit the streets of Copenhagen with a food bike and started serving golden, cheese-loaded toasts to hungry passersby. Things took off quickly. Soon after, we landed a cozy little Christmas stall in the heart of Tivoli Gardens, where our melts became an instant crowd favorite—and we secured a permanent spot for the holiday season.

Then… the pandemic hit. Like many others, we had to shut down, and Frank’s Toast went quiet for three long years. But the love didn’t stop. People kept writing to us, asking: When are you coming back? That support meant everything.

So—we made our comeback!
